Pennsylvania filmmaker Don Swanson talks about his short film (soon to be a feature) Occurrence at Mills Creek, working with actors, and crowdfunding. You can find Occurrence at Mills Creek on Indiegogo until May 1st here: https://igg.me/at/omcfilm/x

This question spawned an idea that ignited the imaginations and passions of a dedicated cast and crew that worked on a strictly volunteer basis to start the journey that is Occurrence at Mills Creek. Betsy Lynn George, best known as Devon in the music video for Billy Idol’s classic Cradle of Love, volunteered her time and talent along with Lynda Marnoni (George Romero’s The Crazies and Season of the Witch) and so many others to bring us this far. What began as a joke while filming another project has turned into a completed short film intentionally designed to double as the first act in a feature-length film. With a growing cast that includes Mia Zanotti from NBC’s The Voice and the Langshaw Twins who appeared in Furious 7, they are ready to begin the next chapter of this journey.

The script is finished, the cast is assembling and pre-production is underway… but they need your help to keep going, we need you to join our story.
