Film Courage: Connie you have a Ph.D. in cognitive psychology?

Dr. Connie Shears, Associate Professor, Chapman University, Crean College of Health and Behavioral Sciences; Psychology: Correct.

Film Courage: How did you get involved in a book on screenwriting?

Dr. Shears: Paul and I sat together on a committee in 2010 or 2011. And he asked me what does constructionist psychology say about why people get bored at movies?
