What Is the 2016 AT&T Real Stories Business Circle Project About on Zooppa?

AT&T and Zooppa have teamed up again for the Real Stories campaign. AT&T is looking for filmmakers to link up with small businesses to create a 2-minute documentary style video that highlights how the business uses technology to grow and succeed. The goal of the project is to give small business owners a voice, and in doing so, help the small business community learn powerful lessons about entrepreneurship and how technology can help foster and grow their business.

What is Business Circle? Business Circle is AT&T’s online community where business owners can share and learn tech answers that matter. More specifically, Business Circle connects small business owners on topics such as: what it’s like to start, build, protect a business and satisfy customers.

The project is open for video submissions until October 12 at 4:00pm PDT. There are $50,000 in prizes that a panel of AT&T will award to the top six filmmakers and small businesses. In addition, winning filmmakers will have their videos published on the Business Circle website next year. Viewers and participants will also have the chance to vote for their favorite video to win the Zooppa Community Voting Award.

Need a refresher on what Zooppa is? Zooppa is the global social network for creative talent, committed to the vision of real people and innovative brands working together. From its global headquarters in Seattle, Zooppa has expanded rapidly, enabling major brands and their ad agencies to produce great content with creative talent worldwide.

How does it work? Zooppa partners with leading brands and agencies to bring their creative community members opportunities to produce great ads and boost their portfolios. Companies develop a creative brief describing their brand’s attributes, the target audience, and the objectives of the campaign. The creative brief is shared on Zooppa’s site and community members are invited to create content in various formats. For example, producing a viral video, designing an animated sequence, creating a print ad, even writing scripts or concepts for potential ads.
