Netflix, William Blair Alum Joins FilmHedge
Our team is growing! Today we welcome the highly experienced and passionate Monica Green to FilmHedge.
FilmHedge is a company founded at the intersection of Tech, Finance, and Film/TV production. It’s pretty rare to find someone who has traversed all three spaces at a professional level with years of experience behind them. With Monica, we feel we’ve found exactly that!
Monica Green describes herself as a strategy and finance expert in the media and entertainment sector who’s spent the past 6 years of her career working in investment banking and media streaming platform services.
She joins FilmHedge as the Vice President of Business Development.
Prior to her new role at FilmHedge, Monica spent 4 years in the Content, Strategy and Analysis group at Netflix where she managed licensing for major films, and content strategy for original stand-up comedy and adult animation genres. She led analysis and deployment strategy for global budgets of up to $1.5 billion.
Before Netflix, Monica worked in M&A investment banking as an Associate at William Blair in the Technology group where she advised private equity and strategic buyers in four buy-side and sell-side engagements resulting in completed transactions of over $1.4 billion. Prior to that she spent four years at Deloitte consulting.
Monica graduated with an MBA from The University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business and is an undergraduate alumnus of the University of Virginia.
A native of Atlanta, she is excited to foster continued growth of the film industry in her hometown.
