Ravi Kondala Rao has written the ‘Savukaru’ story in the form of novel. The novel, dialogues and songs were published in the monthly ‘Vijaya Chitra’ from Jan 1976 to 10 months. After that Navodaya Publishers (Vijayawada) published a book on it in Aug 1977.
It had a 100-day run in Durga Kalamandir, Vijayawada.
