I’d love to hire someone full-time, but…

When a small business starts, the first 5–10 people handle a ton of different tasks.

The CEO is managing Accounts Receivables. The engineer is running operations. The salesperson is helping with recruiting and marketing.

Eventually, there comes a point in time when these responsibilities grow so big that you need to hire a full-time person dedicated to one role and responsibility.

And sometimes there’s enough money to make this hire. But a lot of time it’s just not in the budget. The owner or the head of a department is left saying, “I’d love to hire someone full-time, but…”

So, what do businesses do in this situation?

The good news is hiring a full-time — or even a part-time person — isn’t the only solution anymore. We are living in an era where it’s never been easier to receive help. Expert help. The combination of software as a service (SAAS) companies and the gig economy have allowed small businesses to stay lean, achieving the results they’re looking to hire someone for but without the cost of a $50,000+ salary (plus benefits).

For example, a business owner might say, “I need someone to handle ordering office supplies. And food for the kitchen. And toilet paper. I can’t be in charge of this anymore, there’s not enough time in my day.” They could hire a full-time or part-time person, or they can work with OfficeLuv who does all of this for them.

Or how about “I need someone to find me 500 companies in Ohio with less than 1,000 employees.” “I need someone to design a poster.” All of these tasks can be done with a freelance worker on Fiverr or Upwork.

The list continues on.

How about the world of Accounts Receivable. You might say, “I like having Quickbooks, but I still have to create the invoices. I still have to send them out. Still need to follow-up with my customers. This takes me a ton of time each week.”

So why not have FinanceFuel do this for you?
