The FinanceX Indonesia Grand Opening event is the perfect opportunity to meet influential people within the Indonesian and Southeast Asian Blockchain Industry. So who’s going?

Two FinanceX co-founders

CEO, Peter Dinh, and CTO, Henry Ng. Both Peter and Henry are IT experts and former scholarship students who graduated from President University, Kota Jababeka, Indonesia. They also completed an MBA together in 2015.

Peter was selected to be a part of the Southeast Asia seed group. He has worked for many big companies in Indonesia (Jababeka TBK Group, PT. Telkom Indonesia, PT. Supra Software, etc.)

Henry was General Manager at Balance Internet, one of the top 3 biggest e-commerce solution providers in Australia and New Zealand. He also co-founded 3 start-up companies providing online marketplaces and digital assets exchanges. He is responsible for system architecture design to ensure the scalability, security and high performance of the FinanceX platform.

Jababeka Group Founder S.D. Darmono

Mr. S.D. Darmono, is the Founder and Chairman of Jababeka Group, creators of Kota Jababeka, the largest industrial area in Southeast Asia. He is also the Founder of President University, the educating institution that produced our CEO and CTO.

One of Indonesia’s biggest success stories, Mr. Darmono began building Jababeka 1989, shaping it into one of the greatest accomplishments of Indonesia. His name is well-known among the wider community and officials an entrepreneur who is multitalented and is a national asset.

Mr. Darmono is also leading tourism and conservation programs, including the UNESCO World Heritage sites namely Borobudur Temple , Prambanan Temple and Ratu Boko Palace, as well as the revitalization of Jakarta’s Old City.

Mr. Darmono is interested in the potential of implementing blockchain technologies in Kota Jababeka.

On a recent tour of Southeast Asia, Peter and Henry were hosted by Mr. Darmono and his wife for dinner and each received a special gift, “Building A Ship While Sailing”, his latest book.

In the book, S.D. Darmono describes the last 7 decades of Indonesian development from post World War II through to the modern day challenges of urbanization and the cyber space age.
