Happy Halloween! On October 31, FinanceX will host Silkroad Eight, an Indonesian blockchain company which will be highlighted by the signing of an agreement creating a partnership!
Just two weeks have passed since the listing of ETC on October 16, and FinanceX is geared up another addition to the platform. Our Indonesian community will be happy about this one!

What is Silkroad Eight?
The purpose of Silkroad Eight is to act as the bridge between the real sector and cryptocurrency technology. Silkroad Eight will provide a platform for businesses to put forward an investment proposal, and once accepted an opportunity for investors to analyze and consider investment. This makes the process much more simple and efficient than usual.
The vision of Silkroad Eight is to be the largest business platform and integrator in Indonesia — able to create a transparent and efficient technology-based modern business ecosystem.
Let’s take a look at the 6 stage SET investment process:
Stage 0 (Project Initialisation)
Real project proposals are established. After the proposals are approved, the plans are offered to investors. At this stage, Silkroad Eight establishes a company to act as an investment manager, responsible for assessing the project proposals before offering the projects to investors. Independent auditors can also be involved to verify the feasibility of the project proposals. This is necessary to reduce investment risk.
Stage 1
Investors decide to invest in one or more projects in the Silkroad Eight Platform using SETs. The investors are given a Proof-of-Asset (PoA) based on an agreed conversion from SET to PoA. At this stage, Silkroad Eight can also act as an investor by utilising funding from various sources, including funding from the initial token offering.
Stage 2
The projects are funded via SETs. When the minimum investment fund is achieved, the project commences.
Stage 3
As the projects run, information related to the projects is provided to third party auditors.
Stage 4
The auditors evaluate the performance of the projects and report their findings through the Silkroad Eight Platform. The reports are then accessible by project investors.
Stage 5
The projects return the investment funds along with the interest in SETs.
Stage 6
Investors receive the invested fund and the interest in SETs; the PoA is burned.
The investment opportunities in Southeast Asia are growing by the day as the largely developing countries are rapidly embracing the new technologies available to them. With an enormous population base which is predominantly untapped, Indonesia possesses colossal potential to be one of the world’s powerhouses in business and technology. Adopting blockchain technologies early will aid in this process.
