18th December 2017 : Visited Ockhi hit areas near Vizhinjam port .Interacted with various stakeholders.

28th December 2017 : Visited Poonthura village.Interacted with Fr. Justin Jude, vicar of St. Thomas Church, Poonthura and church council members.

The church council facilitated interactions with affected families.

29th December 2017 : Visited bank officials to discuss possibilities of a monthly support system for the victims.

Visited St. Marys Church, Vizhinjam . Fr. Vishal facilitated interactions with affected families.

Plans

1) Identify five beneficiaries for this project based on the support they have received from various agencies.Those with minimal(or no) support will be given priority.Collect their details and consent for being a part of this experimental project.

2) Crowdfunding for the project .

3) Regular (bi-weekly or monthly) cash transfer to the beneficiaries in the form of basic income with measures to ensure proper utilisation of this assistance.

4) Monthly assessment meetings with all relevant stakeholders to assess the impacts
