Twenty One Prayers : : Parents
Prayers From Mike Figueras : : Connections Director
We come before you today Lord because you are the best example of how to parent. So we turn to you and pray for each parent to be guided by you. Have parents turn to your word daily for advice on raising Godly children. We pray parents do not discourage their children but bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord. We ask the Holy Spirit remind them of the victory in the midst of challenges they may come against. Help parents be reminded that their children are your children and you have a purpose and plan for them. We pray for Godly peace and wisdom daily realizing that children are a blessing from you, the Father. We pray you supply all their needs according to your riches in Glory as well. In the name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.
“Help parents be reminded that their children are your children and you have a purpose and plan for them.”
“Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their opponents in court.” — Psalm 127:3–5
Life Group Prayer
This is the last week of Life Groups for the Summer semester and the perfect opportunity for prayer. Each Life Group will be spending some time in prayer for their families. If you are not in a Life Group this is your last chance to experience it before the semester ends.
