Day 180 — Quilling- Haibun Journey Beauty Each Day

Today’s beauty came in exquisite paperwork and memories. I was at a craft fair today and saw some very unique quilling. Some of it was whimsical and brought a smile to my face, some was very delicate. Other pieces were three dimensional and arrange beautifully in shadow boxes. It was quilling taken to a much higher level then I’ve seen. It also brought back memories of my childhood. My first quilled mallard is still on my parent’s wall. It always made me feel special because with six children, mine was the only piece of art that was framed and on the wall. I had other more talented sister’s but my mother has alway’s been my biggest fan.
