Day 185–My Granddaughter’s Smile — Haibun Journey Beauty Each Day
Today’s beauty is my granddaughter’s smile. I had not even gotten out of the car when my granddaughter reached out into the street to greet me. Her smile beamed from ear to ear on her dirt streaked face. She showed me her bike and later demonstrated her ability to ride. She just turned five but is the size of a small 3 year old. She is fearless. She can ride better than her almost 8 year old brother and rides a used bike the size of his. She puts her whole heart into things and takes in all with great joy.
