Finding Income

Trading Journal for 10/15

6:24AM: SPX futures are down at 3440. STAF is gapping up 157% on no news. SPI is gapping up 76% on news that its subsidiary has made a deal to cooperate with another company. Both of these stocks are off of their pre-market highs. I think I’ll be sitting tight at the open and looking for proof that these stocks can move higher.

6:31AM: STAF hesitated at its pre-market high of $2.50 before breaking through to $2.60 and is now consolidating near $2.50. The price action seems to go in spurts.

6:34AM: Bought in for the break of $3.00 on STAF for +$0.07/share

6:36AM: Big pullback to $2.70 after hitting a peak of $3.34.

6:39AM: To reflect, I could have been more dialed in for the move from $2.80 to $3.00 and also for the continuation after the break of $3.00.
