Stage 2 Frontier Campaign is here, launching on 17 Oct 2021 at 3:00 PM PST (campaign may be subject to timeline extensions).
After extensive testing, the initial phase of the Frontier Campaign has been successfully completed with 99.9% uptime over a period of 32 days on Anvil testnet. 75 node operators from 30+ countries, including Wetez, Forbole, Genesis Labs and Infinity Stones, helped achieve this milestone together. The effort, engagement, evangelism and enthusiasm from this great community of validators have been amazing.
Today, the second stage of the Frontier Campaign begins, not only for validators and delegators but also for creatives and enthusiasts in the community.
THE FINDORA FRONTIER PROGRAM IS NOT BEING OFFERED TO ANYONE IN THE UNITED STATES, THE BALKANS, BELARUS, BURMA, COTE D’IVOIRE, CUBA, DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO, IRAN, IRAQ, LIBERIA, NORTH KOREA, SUDAN, SYRIA, ZIMBABWE AND OTHER PROHIBITED JURISDICTIONS. The blog / documentation bounties will start on 18 Oct 2020 at 3:00 PM PDT.
How to participate:
1/ Submit your piece of content, e.g. blog / documentation / user testing report, regarding Staking on Findora to either Medium or kyc@findora.org. The content must be original.
2/ The article must include your Findora Address (Mainnet) to receive prizes for easy prize disbursal. Note that exchange wallet addresses likely do not support private transactions, so if you wish to receive your reward privately, then please list a non-exchange wallet address.
3/ Share the link to your piece of content in the Findora Telegram group or Discord server, tweet it out with the hashtag #FindoraFrontier.
4/ Your content will be evaluated on both quality and community engagement.
Prizes/Giveaways:
- Total prize pool of this bounty will be 250,000 FRA tokens
- 10 submissions (may subject to change) will be awarded in total. Awards will be published one week after the event ends.
🧰 Tools Bounties | Calling All Talents
The tools bounties will start on 18 Oct 2020 at 3:00 PM PDT.
Apply for a Tools Bounty if you are building a project useful for validators & delegators to facilitate their staking experiences, examples include: validator portal / dashboard; alert mechanisms for offline validators; telegram bots displaying the latest network status, e.g. staking ratio; etc.
How to participate:
1/ Go to the Findora Foundation Grants page and check the details of the grants.
2/ Submit a scope approval request via the application form. Please include in your request the following:
- Short description of the project with deliverables
- Estimated time to finish
- List of functionalities and features
2. You will be contacted within 48 hours after submission. Once your scope request is approved, you can start working on the project. Projects could be finished after the campaign period as long as approved by the Findora Foundation team.
🛣️ Looking Ahead
Over the past 10 months, various community developer teams were focused on delivering a strong foundation for the Findora network and ecosystem. Mainnet beta was launched leveraging Bulletproofs, a type of zero-knowledge proofs that efficiently preserves transactional privacy and masks balances; v0.2.0 on Testnet released with support for staking, delegation, rewards, and penalties; and v0.3.0 on Devnet is live with full EVM compatibility to support smart contracts, DApps, ERC-20 Tokens, and ERC-721 NFTs and more- soon we will witness explosive growth of new applications built on the Findora chain.
The community is now working towards launching open staking on Mainnet Beta — a major milestone for a fully decentralized and community-oriented network. When staking is live, all FRA token holders can stake or delegate FRA tokens to capture staking rewards while contributing to the network consensus and security.
