Back again for The Internet Identity Workshop 36th!
After the online conference in its 35th edition, this time the event took place from April 18th to 20th, 2023, at the Computer History Museum in California.
Let’s recall about The Internet Identity Workshop (IIW).
The Internet Identity Workshop is the consists of informal presentations and discussions. There were also several interactive sessions and workshops where participants could learn about new technologies and tools related to online identity. These included sessions on blockchain-based identity systems, biometric authentication, and identity verification using machine learning.

So what is Key Event Receipt Infrastructure (KERI)?
Key Event Receipt Infrastructure (KERI) is a decentralized identity management solution that handles root-of-trust, key rotation, delegation, multi-signature, and other nuanced identity management tasks necessary for organizations and individuals to interact digitally with cryptographic trust.
KERI is a system to help protect your online identity by using self-certifying identifiers that are strongly bound to a cryptographic signing key-pair. It is designed to be decentralized, so that no single entity controls it, and it uses a key rotation scheme to maintain security.
The goal of KERI is to provide a more secure and accountable way to manage online identities and access control.
