From the previous article, we have already mentioned our company’s pet-friendly policy. Today, we will introduce you guys to our six adopted dogs and cats.

Say hi to our four-legged friends :)

Let’s start with our two adopted dogs!

Our first adopted dog is “Lee”. She is very shy, timid, but an amazing dog once you earn her trust. She is the mother of Suay, and has a brown caramel coat with the most adorable soulful eyes you have ever seen. She loves to play with Suay, and tends to sleep during the daytime, coming out in the evening to eat and say goodbye to the office workers. Even though she is an older dog, you can see that she is still young at heart as she wants to play and be loved. We treated her for some skin infections, blood parasites and vaccinated her.

Our second adopted dog is is “Suay” which means beautiful in Thai. She is extremely friendly, chubby (well-fed) and adorable. Suay is a cream-colored dog with ears that are too small for her size! She is the daughter of Lee and stays primarily around Atthrakravi Building 1, as she has developed a close, trusting relationship with the office workers there. We have treated her for blood parasites, liver infection, and also got her vaccinated and spayed. She loves eating grilled pork and liver.

On our way to get vaccinated!

We have currently adopted four homeless cats, namely Gucci, Prada, Bally and Mally. Let’s get to know them, shall we?

Gucci is a plump grey striped cat with big green eyes, and an attitude to match. She loves to nap in the shade during the day and will lounge around the office wherever she feels like it, whether it be the roof, stairs, or plants. She is a friendly cat, but can get shy around large groups of people, which is when she tends to run away. Gucci visits the office during morning and evening hours to get food, water, and pets. We recently vaccinated and spayed her.

We took Gucci to the vet to get neutered.

Prada is a small, gentle, and sweet cat with a beautiful Siamese coat. She is often seen walking around the office area and playing with Molly, and we suspect that they may be sisters, as they look quite similar. Prada likes to venture out in the evening hours, and often stops by Finema’s office at 7pm for a bite to eat. She is quite wary of people at first, but will let you pet her if she is familiar enough with you.

Mally is a small cat with the same Siamese coat as that of Prada, but that’s about as far as their similarity goes. Their personalities are different. Mally is a little bit introverted and not very friendly to people. She is a keen investigator, always sniffing around anything and anyone unfamiliar. Mally usually stops by the office at the same time as Prada, which is around 7pm for food.

Bally is a short-haired cat with sharp eyes. He is extremely friendly and not scared of people. We can describe him as a ‘food lover’ because whenever there is food, there is him around. He is a little bit plump. Well, you can tell that he is well-fed by looking at his tummy. Bally mostly comes to the office during evening hours to get fed as we always prepare food for him at the front door.

Feed me! It is food time :P

Our adoption story begins when Pakorn (CEO of Finema) has witnessed the suffering of homeless dogs and cats in the Sukhumvit area, which is where our headquarters office is located. As a result, he decided to provide funding for these four-legged friends over the past two years.

You might be curious where the funding comes from?

The funds came mainly from the company’s profit. We have set aside a chunk of money around 5–10% of the company’s profit received from every project. Our contributions to the care of homeless animals consist of providing food, vaccinations, medical treatments and a place for them to stay and wander around. Most importantly, we do not lock them in a cage and we always make sure that they are safe and well-fed.

As of now, we are trying to raise funds and find permanent and happy homes for our four-legged friends. Please contact us if you are interested in helping these homeless animals. Your contribution is highly appreciated.
