Literacy Day at Finema
Having completed higher education is crucial for the job market nowadays, as it has become common for the set of qualifications a job candidate is expected to meet to include at least a bachelor’s degree. More companies now seek candidates with higher degrees as well.
However, not everyone is lucky enough to have been in a position to pursue higher education in their field of interest. They are not to blame for the unfortunate situation, but to be given an opportunity to broaden their knowledge and perspective beyond what they already have.
Finema believes in educational equity and ensures that any employee who wishes to take a short course or training has the opportunity to do so, online or offline, with full support from the company.
Once the employee is good at the new subject, they could coordinate with human resources to set up one or more sessions to share their newly acquired literacy with colleagues who may have the same interest. Junior developers, new graduates, and those stuck in the middle of figuring out what they want can benefit so much from such sessions.
