Positive Workplace at Finema
Having smiles on colleagues’ faces has always been the People Partnership Team’s mission to brighten the day at the workplace and after work, regardless of how busy our colleagues are. Seeing smiles on their faces is considered our successful indicator, as People Partnership must strive to provide happiness and work-life balance through activities in the company.
As part of the workforce, some colleagues may be prone to tiredness due to workload. However, not everyone has time to relax after work. Therefore, as a positive workplace creator, we should find ways to minimize exhaustion. That’s where activities and clubs come in, helping colleagues take a break from work while picking up some knowledge through participation.
Throughout the months, an activity called “ภาษา ปาร์ตี้” has continuously been developing and improving. Not long ago, the activity emerged to allow everyone to participate. This activity helps everyone acclimatize to spoken English in daily conversation. We keep having joyful topics to discuss every week.
The rite of passage to being fluent in English might take some time. Therefore, using English at the workplace often could help everyone get accustomed to the English environment. Once they have encountered English situations, the initial unwillingness will ease up. Moreover, discussing topics that interest those who want to partake will bring joy to them.
When colleagues have lighthearted feelings, the workplace will assuredly be more positively livable, and everyone will enjoy coming to work every day.
