The Rhode Island Gestapo. . . How Do You Say, “Papers, Please,” in Rhode Islander?

Funny how Rhode Island, a state whose residents voted for “open borders” Hillary 54.4% over Trump at 38.9%, now has instituted an action plan to “weed out” foreigners within their state.

Mind you, we are not talking about illegal aliens or criminal fugitives trying to go on the lamb within Rhode Island. Nope—we are talking about law-abiding visitors from another state—New York.

No, Rhode Island has not established “border controls” along their state’s borders, but they are sending in the national Guard and State Police to go door-to-door to “inform” potential New York residents that they must quarantine themselves for 14 days upon arriving in Rhode island.

A checkpoint was also setup on I-95 and vehicles with New York plates were being stopped to remind occupants of the vehicle about the quarantine restrictions and to collect contact information.
