At a House Financial Services Committee hearing this morning, my colleague Hester Peirce is speaking about reforms to the financial regulatory system. The Committee is discussing the Financial CHOICE Act, the legislative proposal to reform how the financial system is regulated.

Hester’s view is that “carefully crafted financial reform will strengthen the regulatory system’s ability to protect consumers, enhance financial stability, and ensure that the financial system can support a dynamic, innovative, prosperity-enhancing economy.”

Hester’s written testimony is available here.
