FIO Token Is Now Available on Changelly

The FIO Protocol (FIO) token has been listed on Changelly. From now on, users will be able to quickly and easily exchange the token for the 200+ cryptocurrencies already available on the platform.

FIO is the native utility token of FIO Protocol, a project that aims to change the way cryptocurrencies are sent and received. The asset is used for transaction gas fees and on-chain governance. The project team is passionate about mass adoption — their main goal is to make crypto products easier to use and hence more accessible for everyone.

Earlier this year, Changelly enabled support for FIO Wallet Handles and FIO Request — the two main features offered by the project. The former allows users to replace the traditional long and non-human-readable wallet addresses with a short and memorable identifier, e.g. john@crypto. The latter gives customers the ability to request funds from any other wallet via in-wallet notifications and simple approvals.

We’re excited to continue our partnership with Changelly as a member of the Foundation for Interwallet Operability’s consortia of wallets, exchanges, and service providers that don’t just believe in the importance of improving cryptocurrency usability, but are willing to take action because of that belief. By enabling the FIO token within their easy-to-use quick-swap system, over a hundred projects will now have access to purchasing their own FIO Domain or FIO Wallet Handle via the FIO utility token.
