Infinity Implements FIO Protocol to Enhance Wallet Experience and Support FIO Token Swapping
We are excited to announce that FIO has teamed up with Infinity Wallet, a very extensive cryptocurrency wallet that allows users to easily transact, monitor, exchange and more, to integrate FIO Send into the Infinity wallet.
Infinity Wallet is a non-custodial wallet that is a very intuitive gateway to decentralized finance in a user-friendly, multi-currency and convenient cryptocurrency wallet for their users’ needs. The Infinity Wallet has a simple and seamless interface that has many features available and is easy to use for even those new to cryptocurrency. Users are able to not only manage multiple cryptocurrencies but also manage multiple wallets all within the same interface. Infinity Wallet also allows users to easily swap from one cryptocurrency to another with a simple push of a button. Users do not even need to leave the wallet interface to get the latest market and news updates.
Enter FIO: the integration of FIO Send gives users the ability to easily send cryptocurrency from the Infinity Wallet without the stress of copying and pasting long string public addresses users of this and other wallets are accustomed to having to use. FIO Crypto Handles replace that long string public address vulnerable to errors and other exploits with a simple, human-readable address known as a FIO Crypto Handle. The long string public key address is replaced with the FIO Crypto Handle in the format of username@domain. FIO Send allows users to send cryptocurrency to any wallet that has FIO Crypto Handles enabled. Custom domains can be anything from a company or brand name to a family surname, or anything that is currently not already claimed in the FIO ecosystem.
Users of Infinity Wallet can now easily purchase FIO Tokens using the wallets swap feature. You can easily swap any cryptocurrency that is supported in the wallet for FIO Tokens. FIO Tokens can be used to purchase custom domains and custom FIO Crypto Handles, or they can choose to stake FIO Tokens to participate in on-chain governance and earn staking rewards for participating.
No longer will users have to worry about mistyping a character or any type of hack or exploit that alters the address where the user is trying to send or receive funds when using FIO-enabled wallets. Adding the FIO Protocol to the Infinity Wallet wallet gives its users an even more accessible and seamless experience when sending cryptocurrency payments, making an already phenomenal and secure wallet even better and easier to use for all the users of Infinity Wallet.
