After a few restless months, we are glad to announce that Firebird has released our very first Testnet. However, this testnet is only available to our exclusive partners. Besides building the Firebird chain, we have also been actively discussing with a few developers and projects that are incubated by our parent company, Icetea Labs. These developers will be the first onboarded batch of developers to build on our Firebirdchain. These projects include F2Game, Gunstar, Wanaka Farm, Evermoon, My Master War, and Monsterra.
In this first testnet, project builders can expect these few features Firebird is releasing:-

Utilize Firebird’s capacity to execute a huge number of transactions per second and guarantee immediate transaction finality at a near-zero fee.
-EVM Compatible
EVM Compatible enables straightforward migration from Ethereum and BSC, and reuse of an abundance of toolchains, including MetaMask, Remix, Hardhat, etc.
The testnet will go on for 2 weeks within the period from Oct 17th to Nov 3rd. Through this testnet campaign, we aim to come out with a high-quality final product for developers who wish to build on our chain in the future.
