I. How to join the Phoenix Cup?

You can join Phoenix Cup easily by following these 4 steps:

Step 1: Connect Wallet

Step 2: Choose Firefly Testnet Network

Step 3: Faucet $BIRD to predict and $PKF as gas fee

Step 4: Start the game: Choose match — Submit answers — Check rank on leaderboard!

To take part in the Phoenix Cup, you must faucet $PKF (testnet) for gas fee.

You don’t need to pay any fees to predict matches as you can faucet free testnet tokens every day to join!

II. Types of prediction gaming

There are two types of prediction gaming: No deposit $BIRD and Deposit $BIRD.

1. No deposit $BIRD

There is only 1 question: predict the match score.

There are 4 steps:

1. Faucet $PKF (testnet) for gas fee
2. Select the match
3. Fill in the score prediction results and submit.
4. Check results:

Incorrect answer: Users end here.

Correct answer:

• Users will be added to a match whitelist.
• Firebird will randomly choose 1 winner by chain link at the end of each match (after the match ends).
• Firebird updates results on the leaderboard page in the Match score prediction Winner section.
• Users check results & rewards.

Note: Users can submit the results freely until the match closes the prediction and the system records the final result.

2. Deposit $BIRD

2.1. There are 4 questions : Predict who wins & total goals for 1st half & full match.

• Which team wins the first half?
• Which team wins the match?
• Is the total of the first half goals higher or lower than the number given by Firebird?
• Is the total goals of the full match higher or lower than the number given by Firebird?

2.2. There are 5 steps:

1. Faucet $BIRD to join and $PKF for gas fee (Testnet)
2. Select a match and choose questions
3. Deposit $BIRD (max 1000 $BIRD/ 1 question)
4. Submit the prediction
5. Check results:

Incorrect answer: Lost deposited $BIRD and earned $BIRD=0

Correct answer: Get deposited $BIRD back and earn extra $BIRD based on the question rate.

• Users can check the results by accessing the Leaderboard: Who wins & Total goals (earned $BIRD)
• Top 30 leaderboard will receive corresponding rewards.
• Results will be updated after the 1st half (for questions for 1st half) and the match is over (For questions for full match).

III. Note

• Faucet $PKF (Testnet) for gas fee is required
• Users can faucet $BIRD to join and $PKF (testnet) for gas fee everyday:
• $BIRD: Maximum 4,000/ day
• $PKF: Maximum 10/ day
• Users can participate in predicting multiple matches (unlimited), provided that the match is still open for prediction. In case the match has already started, the user can no longer participate in the prediction.
• Each match has 5 questions for the user to answer. Total World Cup matches is 64. Then, the total number of questions that users can participate in is 5 * 64 = 320 questions.
