What is Firesky?

The Demon King has taken over the four Spirit Portals of the world. It is up to you to defeat his army, restore the portals, and save the universe.
Firesky is a free-to-play game with Web3 collectibles developed by Firesky Entertainment. It’s an action RPG with an intense story and beautiful, premium graphics suited for a console game on mobile. Firesky includes Story Mode (PvE), Ranked Arena (PvP), and weekly tournaments that allow players to compete against the best of the best to win unique and amazing in-game prizes.

Firesky will be available to play on the App Store and Google Play Store.

INTRODUCTION

Gameplay & Game Mechanics

The Basics
Firesky is an RPG with fighting game mechanics and hero and card-collecting elements. Players fight in 1v1 battles against the Demon King’s army or against other players in PvP. Players have four different powers, a shield, and a God attack that they can use to defeat their enemies.

Cards
Cards are an integral aspect of the game that allow players to strengthen their character. Players place cards into the Gauntlet, the screen that holds their cards, and see boosts in various attributes.

Cards are collected through gameplay and can be earned by defeating enemies or by purchasing them in the in-game store. The cards have multiple systems that allow for a dynamic and varied combat system:

Gods — each card belongs to one of the four gods who rule the universe: Monkey King, Eternal Phoenix, Mystic Tiger, and Blood Dragon. Based on which god the card belongs to determines its Main Attribute.

Rarity — there are four rarities of cards: Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary. Common cards have the main attribute associated with its respective god, which can be increased through gameplay. As rarity increases, one Sub-Attribute is added to the card, i.e. rare cards have one SA, epic cards have two, and legendary cards have three.

Leveling — cards can be strengthened by collecting Monkey Coin, an in-game currency earned through defeating enemies in battle, and using them to level up individual attributes on cards.

Characters
FIRESKY offers over 25 unique characters, each with their own special abilities. Players can unlock these characters by playing through the Story Mode. Once an enemy is defeated, that character’s questline is unlocked. To make that character playable, players must complete the questline and the character will be available to be played in the Arena.

GAME MODES

Story Mode
Explore the universe of Firesky and discover the secret of the conflict between the Blood Dragon and the Monkey King. The Demon King, a monstrous and horrific monster spawned by the Blood Dragon, has gone on a tirade and is threatening to rule the universe.

Story Mode is divided into four separate books, each with their own individual storyline. Players can earn playable characters, cards, and other unique items from completing the story.

The vast story of Firesky will be told in nine seasons, with each season releasing a brand new book.

Arena
In short, Arena Mode is the PvP system that allows players to fight against others from around the world. There are two different modes within the Arena: casual and ranked. Casual arena offers minor rewards and lets players fight against each other in a more relaxed atmosphere. Ranked arena calls for more competitive players to put their skills, characters, and card builds to the test. The arena offers more and better rewards as they rise up in the ranks.

Players earn stars as they win matches in arena. Stars work as the MMR system, meaning players who win a lot of battles, will work their way through the rankings. As players rank up, so do the rewards they earn after they win each battle. The top 250 players who have the most stars at the end of each season, will be awarded a Firesky NFT for the next season.

In-Game Resource Summary

Monkey Coins — The main currency of the game that can only be obtained by fighting battles. Can be used to strengthen card attributes.

Phoenix Feathers — Energy system. Generate every day and disappear at the end of the day. To control how much a player can play each day.

Dragon Scales — Premium in-game currency which could normally be bought with real world money.

Character Shards — Earned through playing in Arena, Character Shards level up individual characters and their unique abilities/attributes.

Tiger Coffers — Premium in-game reward. Gacha blind boxes which contain characters/cards.

Gems — Accessories that can be equipped onto cards and offer small power-ups.

Digital Collectibles

Overview
Firesky is a completely free-to-play game that is designed similar to a TV show, unfolding in a seasonal format. Each season, our cast changes and the focus of the heroes switches to allow us to expand on our story. For players who want to follow the lore and truly love the game, they can purchase official Firesky Virtual Collectibles, physical and digital card packs and NFTs. The games collectibles will unlock different in-game items (land, characters, and buildings) and will act as a version of a “battle pass”. These will indirectly affect the player’s outcomes by influencing in-game resource production, providing access to further Firesky mints and other drops, and eventually become a status symbol within the Firesky community.

Characters
Character NFTs, or PFPs, while providing no in-game utility or advantage in terms of gameplay mechanics, will act as a “Battle Pass” in which players who hold one of these character PFPs will have access new cosmetic items, such as skins, as they progress through the game, additional rewards from battles, and given an exclusive cosmetic and resource package upon release of the game. Again, for those players who wish to play the game without purchasing an NFT, they can still purchase a Battle Pass through the in-game store, which will give slightly greater rewards than the Premium Battle Pass that comes with purchasing an NFT.

Character NFTs will act as a “Battle Pass”, where players who hold a Character NFT will have access to new cosmetic items such as skins as they progress, additional rewards from battles, and be given an exclusive cosmetic + resource package upon release of the game (occurs with every passing Season — e.g. Season 2’s Character NFTs will have a bonus pack when Season 2 begins). Holding a Character NFT must give slightly greater rewards than the traditional “Battle Pass” (e.g. more cosmetic items, slightly higher rewards).

Land
Opposed to Character PFPs, Land parcels in Firesky offer in-game utility which are designed to co-exist outside the game in its own web3 marketplace. Land allows users to accumulate various resources. Firesky land and building generators are tied to specific Gods in our game as a metagame. When players enter the game they choose an allegiance that is represented in our land map. Based on the performance of the allegiance the reward production increases in specific areas or parcels. Our goal is to create a marketplace that is influenced by the battle taking place in game. Each of the land parcels also has variability which allows for more nuance for investors

ECONOMY OVERVIEW

Traditional Battle Pass
Credit card purchase. A traditional battle pass will be offered to users as a way of progressing faster through the levels of the game without being forced to use the web3 technologies if they so choose. This battle pass will give fewer rewards over the course of a season than the Character NFTs receive.
