Voting on FIRMACHAIN’s first governance proposal ‘Enable IBC Transfer’ that was registered on the 13th of July is now complete. The proposal successfully passed the voting.
91.94% of votes were casted on the proposal that was open for 7 days. The decision to pass the proposal was unanimous.

With the passing of this governance proposal, FIRMACHAIN can now successfully communicate and transfer assets with heterogeneous blockchain networks that are developed on the Cosmos ecosystem.
Enabling IBC transfer would mean a wider use case for FIRMACHAIN in areas such as DEX, DeFi, DApp, NFT and a number of other decentralized services. In the mid to long-term we believe the value and the liquidity of FCT(FCT2) will increase with the enabling of IBC transfer.
With the successful passing of the first governance proposal we are now looking for a IBC relayer who would provide technical support for a successful IBC operation.
