FIRMACHAIN Roadmap 2024(with a summary of the progress made in 2023)

The year 2023 was a pivotal year for FIRMACHAIN as we aimed to become a comprehensive utility + entertainment platform, laying the foundation for a thriving ecosystem. With this foundation in place, in 2024, FIRMACHAIN is preparing to take an even bigger leap forward with the new goal of “Expansion”.
We would like to share with you the R&D achievements that FIRMACHAIN has made over the past year, categorized into technology and external growth bases, and our future direction.
■ Overview of 2023
FIRMACHAIN has been concentrating on building the essential technical foundation to revitalize and expand the ecosystem. We have developed a variety of services that are necessary for both DApp developers and individual users, which we expect will reduce the technical burden on participants in the FIRMACHAIN ecosystem and improve accessibility and convenience. Let’s take a closer look at the technical accomplishments we made in 2023.
▶️FIRMA VERIFY: Blockchain-based e-document verification service (https://verify.FIRMACHAIN.io/)
FIRMACHAIN’s first R&D achievement in 2023 is FIRMA VERIFY, which enables electronic documents to be recorded and verified on the blockchain. The service verifies the integrity and forgery of everyday electronic documents such as contracts, transaction records, and receipts. It offers an API that is designed to be easily used by users unfamiliar with blockchain, and is predicted to foster synergy with different Dapp services built on FIRMACHAIN.
▶️ FIRMA CONNECT: A new product launched with the enhancement of FIRMA Station, connects various content like games, DeFi, and events to FIRMACHAIN, which bridges the gap between Web 2.0 and 3.0. This feature enables users to access FIRMACHAIN based DApp services from any location through their mobile phones. Tests have already been conducted at multiple offline and online events, and it will become an increasingly significant feature as the FIRMACHAIN ecosystem grows.
▶️ FIRMA STATION: Improvements to extend the aggregation platform’s role
In order to expand the role of FIRMACHAIN as a comprehensive platform, we have been working on upgrading FIRMA STATION, focusing on data efficiency so that various DApps based on FIRMACHAIN, such as P2E and DeFi, can synergize with each other beyond just providing services. This is an important preparation for the evolution to FIRMA STATION 2.0.

This is a tool to test Cosmwasm-based smart contracts, and it is a tool that makes it easy to deploy and test DAPPs by connecting to a testnet wallet. It is an essential feature for DAPP production and can be utilized by many DAPPs including KOALA KNIGHT.
▶️ FIRMA NFTs: NFT Explorer Service (https://nft.FIRMACHAIN.io/)
This NFT explorer service is designed to assist you in efficiently checking NFTs issued on FIRMA CHAIN. The purpose of this service is to help DApp developers who participate in FIRMACHAIN focus on the essence of their content. It will be supported up to CW721 assets in 2024.
▶️ KOALA KNIGHT: CosmWasm-based P2E Tool Kit (https://koala.FIRMACHAIN.io/)
Koala Knight’s demo version, which includes the essential functions of P2E services like NFT, DeFi, Market, and Game Bridge, has been released. It was presented for the first time at an offline event and received a positive response from the audience, proving once again the utility value of FIRMACHAIN. Koala Knights is an important key to the expansion of FIRMACHAIN’s ecosystem, which will be discussed in detail in the 2024 roadmap below.
In addition to technical growth, we have also made several achievements in non-technical areas to build a seamless ecosystem.
▶️ Web3-based G&E Platform Partnership
First, we entered into a partnership with PERPLAY, a Web3-based G&E (Game and Earn) platform that allows users to own and grow their own NFTs and mine tokens when they play content. This partnership will help FIRMACHAIN grow the DApp services it is built on.
▶️ Participation in offline events (DMTS, Digital Media Tech Show)
FIRMACHAIN’s efforts to expand its customer base culminated in its participation in the Digital Media Tech Show (DMTS). This offline event provided an opportunity for FIRMACHAIN to showcase its P2E project, Koala Knights, to the audience how blockchain technology works and how it can be integrated with web2 content. This was a valuable experience for FIRMACHAIN to publicize its utility entertainment goals and validate the utility of its technology.
▶️ Global Listing on Huobi
In order to expand liquidity, we have listed FIRMACHAIN (FCT/FCT2) on Huobi Global, a global cryptocurrency exchange. This is the second exchange to support mainnet integration, and assets can be transferred through other listed exchanges, contributing to the creation of a healthy ecosystem for FIRMACHAIN.
■ Roadmap for 2024
The year 2023 was dedicated to setting the groundwork for COSMOS-based service enhancement and developing a utility platform. In 2024, we will focus on expanding the ecosystem, acquiring users through ecosystem funds and DApps, and securing liquidity from external assets based on IBC. This will allow us to strengthen cooperation with COSMOS and IBC-based projects, launch and open-source KOALA KNIGHT, make it easier for projects requiring P2E/Game-Fi to onboard to FIRMACHAIN, and enable liquidity swaps based on OSMOSIS and CW20.
▶️ Onboarding OSMOSIS via IBC
In the first half of the year, we will be listing OSMOSIS and onboarding on IBC. Following listing, we will establish different incentive pools to secure liquidity and propose proposals to increase liquidity when necessary. In addition, we will update FIRMA STATION to make it easier to use OSMOSIS. By making core assets such as USDC and ATOM available within the FIRMACHAIN ecosystem through OSMOSIS onboarding via IBC, we will lay the foundation for the revitalization and growth of the FIRMACHAIN ecosystem.
▶️ Launch of Ecosystem Fund for Ecosystem Expansion and Recruitment of Partners
We will be launching an ecosystem fund of up to 10 million (10,000,000 FCT/FCT2) with the goal of expanding the ecosystem. We will provide various support such as liquidity provision, marketing and technical support to projects that will be onboarded into the mainnet Colosseum.
Projects that make it through the onboarding process will also be able to benefit from Ecosystem Fund tokens or community pool proposals. Through the Ecosystem Fund, we hope to create a virtuous circle that will enable our partners to upgrade their services while activating the FIRMACHAIN network through Colosseum-based DApps or utilized services.
▶️ Participate in offline and online events
Along with the official launch of KOALA KNIGHT, we are also planning to participate in several offline events. By providing an opportunity to naturally experience web3 blockchain technology through web2 game content, we will secure contact with a wide range of users regardless of their understanding of blockchain. Through offline events, we will build a potential user base for our expanding ecosystem, and at the same time, sign meaningful partnerships.
▶️ FIRMA Station 2.0 upgrade
FIRMA Station 2.0 will be upgraded in line with the ecosystem expansion and CosmWasm adoption. You will be able to check IBC assets (USDC, USDT, ATOM, etc.), DApp services and NFTs that will be newly added to the ecosystem, and more. In addition, we will support the Wallet Connect standard, enabling integration with various wallets, including Keplr. KOALA KNIGHT will support Wallet Connect 2.0, and related features will be provided free of charge to all partners.
▶️ FIRMACHAIN’s Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks (DePIN) Project for 2024–25
FIRMACHAIN’s DePIN project is a strategic expansion plan that will utilize blockchain technology to connect physical infrastructure and the digital economy, providing a new level of service that goes beyond the existing capabilities of storing and verifying digital contracts and applies the transparency and security of blockchain to physical asset management.
At the core of the DePIN project is the upgrade of the chain through a hard fork. This upgrade introduces new protocols and smart contracts for the integration, verification, and management of physical infrastructure data. To overcome the limitations of existing blockchain networks and ensure high throughput and low latency, FIRMACHAIN plans to integrate technologies such as sharding, layer 2 solutions, and state channels.
FIRMACHAIN’s DePIN expansion is an innovative attempt to blur the lines between the digital and physical worlds by integrating blockchain technology with physical infrastructure. The project will set new standards in physical asset management through the development of multiple decentralized applications, including chain upgrades, AI-based real estate risk assessment and management DApps, and the expansion and contribution of network participants’ roles. It will also enable FIRMACHAIN to expand the real-world applications of blockchain technology and pave the way for the creation of new use cases across various industries.
▶️ Developing ecosystem support services
First, we will launch the ‘FIRMA Craft’ service, which allows users to easily issue CW-20 and CW-721 assets. It is designed to make it easy for anyone to issue assets through an intuitive UI/UX, and will enable partners to quickly onboard into the DApp ecosystem.
FIRMA NFTs, a dedicated service to verify NFTs issued on CosmWasm, is officially launched. The existing module-based NFT Explorer service will be upgraded to check NFTs of the CW-721 standard. It is expected to be useful for P2E or NFT-related services.
Finally, a CW-20-based token swap system will be available for tokens issued by our partners. You will be able to swap CW-20 assets for assets such as OSMO, USDC, ATOM, and more, and FCT liquidity will also be available through the service to support onboarded DApps.
▶️ CosmWasm Contract Reveal
Most of the technology used in KOALA KNIGHT will be open-sourced, especially all CosmWasm smart contracts used, so projects preparing to launch their projects using the Colosseum will be able to launch easily and quickly. In addition, since it is compatible with other IBC chains that support CosmWasm, it is expected that FIRMACHAIN’s technology will be open and technical cooperation with other chains will be possible.
▶️ KOALA KNIGHT GRAND OPEN PREPARATION
KOALA KNIGHT, a project utilizing the aforementioned ecosystem support services and FIRMA STATION 2.0, will be officially launched. As a full-fledged onboarding project to the FIRMACHAIN ecosystem, we plan to support P2E and Game-Fi through airdrop and various marketing activities targeting users in Southeast Asia. KOALA KNIGHT, which was unveiled as a demo at last year’s DMTS event, can be found at https://koala.FIRMACHAIN.io/, and the fully released version will introduce a variety of new elements in stages, including 10+ stage configurations, land purchase and staking, its own marketplace, mission system, KOALA-Fi, and more. ▶️ Upgrading the Colosseum Mainnet
In the second half of the year, we plan to upgrade the Colosseum mainnet. This is an upgrade to secure the stability of CosmWasm, Cosmos-SDK, and IBC, which may result in a hard fork to Colosseum-2 depending on the chain height. The scope of the upgrade will be further refined according to the business direction and development needs, such as expanding DApp support and improving the smart contract module.
