FIRMACHAIN successfully participates in the ‘UDC 2022’

As per our previous announcement, FIRMACHAIN successfully participated in the Upbit Developer Conference (“UDC 2022”) held at BPEX on the 22nd and 23rd.
A multinational blockchain conference that represents the Korean blockchain industry, the UDC 2022 drew a lot of attention even before the event as more than 50 industry experts from all over the world came to speak at the conference and over 3,000 participants registered for the conference.
During the conference, FIRMACHAIN ran a booth handed out by the host under the theme of ‘Imagine your Blockchain Life’ to showcase our advanced technical expertise.
Including our Colosseum mainnet and related products that were developed on the network, we hosted airdrop events to the attendees of the conference as well as advertise the daily usage of blockchain technology.
From downloading the Firma Station application, a crucial tool required to participate in the FIRMACHAIN ecosystem, to obtaining event tokens and NFTs and swapping them into tradable assets, participants were able to get a firsthand experience of understanding how blockchain technology works. Furthermore, DApps utilizing FIRMACHAIN’s blockchain technology were showcased for the first time to participants.
NFTs were issued from DONUE’s ‘Team DONUE’ character category. Passionate and diligent quokka ‘Doyle’, even-keeled rabbit ‘Dori’ and chic perfectionist duck ‘Dodo’ formed the list of NFTs handed out through the airdrop event. Once participants chose one of the aforementioned characters, they were able to check the relevant information from the ‘UDC 2022 AIRDROP EVENT’ tab located under the Firma Station application’s DApps category.
Combining the gamification factor commonly referred to as Gacha, when participants drew a NFT character with a laurel wreath, we handed out additional gifts. The event tokens issued specifically for the purpose of this event were swapped into FCTs through a separate token swap page, allowing participants to actively engage in experiencing the use of blockchain technology.
The conference was meaningful in that a lot of attendees showed immense interest in FIRMACHAIN’s blockchain technology and the use case of DONUE, a DApp developed using FIRMACHAIN’s blockchain technology.
We will continue to do our very best to grow into a comprehensive blockchain platform.
