FirmaChain successfully took part in the DMTS

Showcasing the next-generation industries and the latest technology trends, FirmaChain captivated audiences at the Digital Media Tech Show (DMTS), held at KINTEX Exhibition Center 1 from November 2 to 4, 2023. The company highlighted the potential of blockchain industries and unveiled its vision for Utility + Entertainment.
At the event, FirmaChain presented a DEMO version of its P2E (Play-to-Earn) project, ‘Koala Knights’, powered by the Colosseum Mainnet. The game will be available as a DEMO TOOLKIT for FirmaChain ecosystem partners, providing a comprehensive suite of components, including Marketplace, Game-FI, and Inventory, essential for game development.
Koala Knights is a WebGL based game built on the Unity engine, immersing players in a vibrant 2D action world with adorable dot graphics and an array of weapons. Event attendees were treated to an immersive P2E experience through a captivating 5–10 minute playthrough. Upon successfully completing the demo, participants were rewarded with a commemorative Koala Knights NFT, further enhancing their DMTS experience.
The following Koala Knights content was released during the event
- Koala Knights Hub: A hub for participating in the Koala Knights ecosystem, including inventory, marketplace, and Koala-Fi, where you can NFT items present in the content as well as play the game.
- Firma Connect : Integrating with the FirmaStation, Firma Connect simplifies wallet connectivity, enabling players to execute transactions without the need for repetitive sign-up and login procedures.
- Event Dungeon: To introduce new players to the P2E concept and provide an engaging gaming experience, FirmaChain has introduced the Event Dungeon for Koala Knights. This specially curated dungeon challenges players to overcome obstacles and earn valuable rewards, offering a tangible demonstration of the P2E model.
FirmaChain plans to apply CosmWasm-based smart contracts (game bridges, assets, DeFi, etc.) to further enhance the game, and plans to promote strategies to expand FirmaChain’s usability and ecosystem through the Koala Knights Hub, which will be released in 2024.
FirmaChain’s participation at the DMTS event proved particularly valuable as it exposed the Koala Knights project to a wider audience, including those unfamiliar with blockchain technology. By leveraging the familiar concept of gaming, FirmaChain effectively demonstrated the potential of blockchain to enhance Web 2.0 content and introduce new dimensions to the gaming experience.
