Hello. This is FirmaChain.

As a sequel to our block explorer release announcement last week, we would like to provide an update on additional technological development of FirmaChain in this posting.

The testnet version of FirmaChain’s mainnet, Imperium, is named after a form of authority in ancient Rome and our mainnet Augustus is named after the first emperor of ancient Rome.

We’ve already notified the testing phase of our testnet, Colosseum with the release of our block explorer and before that we’ve also notified the hardfork of our Augustus mainnet.

For the sake of explanation, the purpose of the Colosseum testnet phase is to stabilize and further enhance our Augustus mainnet by adding a more advanced verification process that not only puts a fine comb through our node validation process but also our system in general.

As historical evidence and major pop culture references clearly depict Colosseum as a symbol of intense battle in gladiatorial shows, the link that starts with Imperium to Colosseum to Augustus can be better understood if you conjure the image of emperor “Augustus (our mainnet)” reaping the fruits of rigorous system and data testing conducted on our testnet “Imperium” during the “Colosseum” test phase.

We would like to note that by dividing up the testing phase, we believe that FirmaChain will be able to construct a solid technological foundation on which a more rigorous ecosystem can be built.

With the addition of the Colosseum test phase to our testnet Imperium, the Imperium stage can now be classified as DevNet, where blockchain developers can test diverse scenarios and prepare system specifications. Simultaneously the Imperium testnet is, at the moment, both the stage and venue where the fastest methods of checking the updates on the FirmaChain core, are found.

Once we stabilize Imperium, we will open up our Colosseum phase for outside developers to directly participate in and experience the validator testing process.

In order to do so, we have released our Faucet service as we’ve notified in our previous posting.

Our faucet service enables the testing of ▶Wallet Creation, ▶Coin Sending, ▶Wallet Recovery and the ▶Minting, ▶Transferring, ▶ Burning of NFTs.

However, please bear in mind that the coins provided through our faucet are released for the sole purpose of testing and therefore cannot be swapped with our mainnet coins.

Thank you for reading and as always we promise our holders to do our very best.

About FirmaChain

FirmaChain seeks to replace all written contracts governing social and legal issues by using an electronic contract platform based on FirmaChain’s data blockchain. Since traditional written and electronic documents are easy to forge, and the verification procedures are complicated, blockchain’s decentralization is used to solve the problem. FirmaChain can check the contract’s validity through its hash function, which can be verified in an independent node. This verification process can be used as a means to resolve legal disputes. Blockchain is an effective technology that eliminates the risk of forgery of such documents, and it is applied to the first DApp (decentralized application) of FirmaChain — DONUE.
