Tell us more about yourself and your staff

Zeal Mind is a dream of Mamatha and Vaishali. I am a counsellor, teacher, and special educator. Our staff is trained, warm, friendly and child-centric.

What is your teaching philosophy?

The child should learn through the PlayWay method. They should enjoy learning. It should not be a monotonous affair. My aim is to develop an interest in children towards gaining knowledge and learning things. My focus is on the social, emotional and cognitive development of a child.

What are your key insights as an educator?

Every child is unique. They are special. A child needs a conducive, friendly and warm environment to learn and develop new skills. Our aim as an educator should be to impart learning in a way that builds a child’s overall personality. In essence, we are building strong characters that would be able to succeed in the real world and contribute to their fellow human beings.

What do parents love about your school?

Parents love that we are warm to their children, disciplined about their child’s learning and flexible to their demands/circumstances. All our activities are child centric. This allows us to share unique insights with parents about their child’s development.

What is your advice for parents who would like to apply for admission to your school?

Parents should self-manage their expectations from preschool. A preschool does not and should not focus on making a child into Einstein. A child comes to preschool or mother-toddler for sensory, cognitive, and language development. This helps in overall growth of a child. It prepares a child to face the world in which he/she is going to live. Preschools are a stepping stone to formal education, not the formal education in itself.
