It seems to me most people (understandably so imo) are frustrated with both the private and public education systems in the United States. The U.S. spends more per capita on education than any other country- yet our performance standards continue to decrease. How is that possible? — It is because money is not the central issue — we seem to be stuck in a mid 20th century model of education and have not yet fully utilized the full educational capacity of open source material published online. Instead of focusing on testing standards and learning ‘material,’ …students need to be taught how to look at education in terms of how best to utilize resources in order to solve problems- resources such as new technology (AI) that they will need to have a mastery over in order to compete in the emerging, technologically literate global workforce.
