First Line Fiction Editor’s Update #7

Hello, FLF writers and readers. Another week has passed, and with it go two more Canadian hockey teams to an offseason of golf courses and regret. Our lone hope to return Lord Stanley’s Cup to Canada rests with the Edmonton Oilers — not a bad spot if you’re a hockey fan — if hockey is not your thing, that’s okay too.

To demonstrate that life loves throwing a monkey wrench into well-intentioned plans, this week’s feature story ended up being a complete flip. I was so proud of myself for not forgetting this week’s update and having perused the archive, searching for a dusty gem.

Then

came along with his chapter story.

If you haven’t been by First Line Fiction lately (shame — much shame on you!), then you won’t know that Rick has produced a beautiful, poignant, sensory-filled serial story.
