First Line Fiction — Weekly Feature Update
A brief update showcasing the newest Editor’s Choice Feature Story
Hello FLF Writers!
I had a good week! I completed two fiction pieces, a book review, and two recipe articles; that’s the best output I’ve had in a while. I still have three book reviews on tap, a scandalous number of fiction drafts partially completed, and two pop culture articles in the queue, but then I decided to get out and touch snow! You may be touching grass in your part of the world, but here at the corner of the Rocky Mountains, the slopes are alive with the sound of swoosh!
So, instead of hunkering down, I took two days off work, threw the kid into the car, travelled west and, went way up high on the mountain and skied down, down, down until my legs shook and lungs protested.
Returning to work last night, I spent some time diving back into the FLF archives, looking for a forgotten story to feature.
