Hi, there, my beloved FLF-ers! How’s it going? Have you had a good week?

Drop into the comments and fill me in if there’s something you’d like to share!

Well, the fantastic stories keep coming! You are such a creative group!

I love reading your stories. Does my heart good to find them waiting in my drafts. Yay!

Please remember to support your fellow FLF writers and read their excellent stories!

You’re doing such a great job, everyone! Thank you!! 🙏🏻

A Little Note

Some people seem to forget the premise of FLF, which is that the first sentence of your story MUST be the prompt. I’ve seen several submissions recently in which the prompt was written at the top as if it’s a theme or title, and then beginning the story in a completely different way and inserting the “first line” somewhere well into it.

Each week, I will give you a new sentence — the first sentence for you to write a piece of short fiction. From drabbles to several-minute reads — let your imagination take you where it will!
