The letter arrived on a Tuesday, wrapped in red silk and marked, “Sealed with a Kiss.” Liam worried that ‘sealed with a kiss’ was overdoing it, but when he asked his father for advice on romance, the old man smiled, pressed a finger against his lips and after a short deliberation, said, “Be bold. Love calls for courage.” Thus, despite feeling enormously foolish, Liam wrote the corny phrase, rushed to the post box and dropped the envelope in the slot. The next part was up to Mr. Simms.
