Congratulations to all writers who successfully submitted stories to our first cash contest!

I am pleased to have received a solid number of entries, and 24 out of 32 submissions qualified for the contest. All contest stories have been published, and all should be tagged with Flfcontest for easy discovery. I encourage you to read each other’s work!

I’ve read each submission at least twice, assigned early scoring and made notes. Whittling the 24 down to the longlist of 12 will be a challenge!

Here is the list of qualified entries. Please check to see that your submission is listed. I’d hate to have missed anyone’s work, but I did have to search a few and add the Flfcontest tag during the open period. A few stories that were not contest prompts were incorrectly tagged for the contest; those have since been removed.

If I have missed a submission, please let me know right away.
