After a summer vacation break, I’m back in the swing of things with a decent list of drafts to work on, and no Pub is as fun as First Line Fiction, where, you guessed it, the first line is provided. After that, it’s all up to you! So, join if you haven’t! I love having the starting gun go off and then follow my fingers where the story takes me. With little plotting and a lot of pants, I had a blast writing this edition, and I hope you find my story entertaining!

Closing the door, she leaned against it and sighed heavily, the sound of his footsteps growing ever more distant. Her mind told her she couldn’t stay hidden in the bathroom forever, but her flip-flopping stomach said she wasn’t ready to open the door and face her mother just yet.
