Over the past few months, we have pumped out a stream of daily amateur and professional Dota 2 tournaments, with prize pools ranging from all the way from $25 to $10,000!

Seeing the impact that these events have had on our Dota 2 community has been hugely gratifying to us.

Seriously, nothing feels better than getting a message from an aspiring pro gamer telling us about how excited they are to win their first tournament, or how the prize money helped pay someone’s rent.

But keeping track of, and paying out, the huge volume of prizes has been an insane workload.

That is why we are rolling out some awesome improvements to our app that will help you keep track of your winnings and drastically improve the speed and ease of your withdrawals.

So you get your money faster, we do less work, and we can all play more Dotes. Yay!

What is Changing?

1. US Dollar Balances

Check out the top right-hand corner of the app and you should now see your US dollar balance alongside your play token (PT) balance.

Before you ask, no… no free US Dollar topups.

You can also find a more detailed breakdown of your balances on the “cashier” tab of your profile.

2. Transaction History

Take a peek at the “cashier” tab of your profile and you will see a full history of your past and pending incoming (prizes) and outgoing (withdrawals) transactions.

Use the withdraw button to initiate a withdrawal.
Note: there is a $10 minimum and $3,000 maximum withdrawal.

3. Skrill > PayPal

Until now, we have paid out all tournament prize money using PayPal. While PayPal is great, it was inaccessible or cost prohibitive to many of our users, and the payout process was slow and time-consuming.

That is why we have decided to use Skrill to handle all US Dollar withdrawals from here on out.

With our new Skrill integration, your US Dollar balance will increase each time you win a US Dollar tournament, you can track their balance in your profile, and request a withdrawal whenever you like.

With these three changes, getting your hard-earned prize money to your pocket will be a breeze.

The real question, do you have what it takes to win?
