A big focus of ours over the past year has been creating competitive pathways for up-and-coming and aspiring pro players to realize their dreams of going pro.

For our Dota 2 players, our daily and weekly tournaments along with our pro events have provided a great foundation for aspiring competitive teams to earn their stripes in the heat of competition.

Over the past few months, we have made some great strides to improving the competitive pathway for our PUBG community by running a steady stream of weekly competitive events, Survival Sunday, along with several tier 1 pro events, the FirstBlood PUBG Invitational, and of course releasing our FirstBlood Royale App.

But today we are thrilled to announce that we are expanding our competitive pathway further with two exciting partnerships; NA Pro Scrims and Esport Underground.

NA Pro Scrims is the premier scrim Discord server for Tier 1, 2, and aspiring pro-PUBG teams and players. They host daily scrims for many of NAs top 20 PUBG teams, have a keen focus on promoting competitive integrity, and a goal to make NA scrims great and house a competitive environment as similar as possible to a real tournament.

Our partnership with NA Pro Scrims will one team each week qualified from the NA Pro Scrims competitions through to our weekly Survival Sunday events. We will also be providing additional lobbies so that they can expand their scrim capacity; giving their teams more guaranteed games and our players an opportunity to scrim against some of NA’s best players. Lastly, FirstBlood will act as a proving ground for teams trying to break into the top tier scrim scene. Teams that consistently perform well in FirstBlood’s competitive events will be recommended for memberships in NA Pro Scrims.

With Esports Underground, we are taking our partnership a step further. Along with providing avenues for reserve teams to find games in each other’s regular PUBG scrims, FirstBlood and ESU will be providing qualifier slots in each other’s pro tier PUBG events.

Through FirstBlood’s Survival Sunday, team’s will now compete not only for the weekly $400 cash prize but also for a monthly slot in ESU’s Legends Series. The team with the highest aggregate Survival Sunday points each month will earn a shot to compete for ESU’s $6,000 monthly prize pool in their Legends Series.

On top of that, we will also be offering the winner of each of ESU’s NA Legend’s Series a slot in the next iteration of our PUBG Invitational! Meaning they can carry their success on and compete against some of NA’s best teams for a $10k prize pool!

But this is just the beginning!

FirstBlood is committed to fostering PUBG’s grassroots through tier 1 esports scene, and we could not be more excited to continue to help shape it.
