The annual #Switch conference this year focused on “the Blockchain Technology revolution” and is the brainchild of Fishcoin’s inceptive Advisor and European Parliament member (MEP) Tony Guoga, who sees Lithuania’s next challenge building on blockchain success into the development of artificial intelligence (AI)technology.

A beautiful sunny day on the 20th September in Vilnius at Litexpo, this year’s venue for the #SWITCH conference which saw 20,000 attendees

An interview with Graham Buck for OpenLedger DEX was part of the day’s duties amongst the busy panel sessions. The title, “How blockchain can clean up the fishing industry”, a good lead into the project, and another infographic to highlight the power of utilising mobile phones for data collection and reward mechanisms for data capture in developing nations.

The day was rounded off with a VIP after-party at stylish venue “Bizarre” in the centre of Vilnius. This was a welcome break from the jam-packed program and a chance for some quality one-on-one discussions with learned people and leading minds from Lithuania and abroad in the world of blockchain.

Bizarre Restaurant, Vilnius old town centre, an excellent venue for the #SWITCH VIP party
