Inspired by Glenn Rockowitz to get baking yesterday. Can’t say I followed the recipe. Libertarian tendencies interfere with any adherence to strict doctrinal principles or formulas, in the kitchen or elsewhere. General guidelines all good. Results, tart, sweet, light, and damn fine with whipped cream though, I am told, custard is acceptable as an accompaniment to scones as well.
