They say you first need to be able to take care of yourself before you can take care of someone else. That’s especially true if you’re on an airplane or are going to be the leader of the free world. Indeed, when you’re the president, sometimes a quick yoga session is more beneficial than signing one more important document while tired.

While it may appear like there aren’t enough hours in a president’s day to focus on fitness, a regular exercise habit is precisely what will make the next commander-in-chief better prepared to perform the demanding role to their best.

So with that in mind, we thought we would offer the next POTUS some unsolicited (the gig does, after all, come with a personal trainer) fitness-inspired advice that will help them during their presidency.

If Donald Trump Gets Elected

1. When it comes to building a wall with Mexico

As trump has stated many times, one of his major tasks as president will be to “build a great wall — and nobody builds walls better than me, believe me — and I’ll build them very inexpensively”.

The Republican candidate has also claimed that building the wall will be easy but will it really?Bricks are heavy and the presidential nominee is going to need a whole lot of stamina and upper body strength in order to build a wall that Mexico will be willing to pay for.

2. When someone accuses him of having small hands

The Republican presidential nominee has sure spent a lot of time defending the size of his hands. On the topic of his hand size, the candidate has said “my fingers are long and beautiful, as, it has been well documented, are various other parts of my body”

Luckily for Trump, there are exercises he can do to increase the size of his fingers which in turn can give the illusion of having bigger hands.

3. If he wants to stay warm during winter

We know from various tweets like the one below, that the real-estate mogul doesn’t cope very well with harsh winters.

During his winter months in office, instead of turning to global warming to keep him warm, we recommend trying an intense yoga session from hoolio trainer Sofia. Sofia’s yoga sequences will make him sweat like it’s the middle of summer, even in the depths of winter.

If Hillary Clinton Gets Elected

1. When the email scandal just won’t go away

The email scandal has plagued Clinton since it was discovered that she used a private email server to conduct government business when she was secretary of state.

And because it does not look like this scandal will go away anytime soon, we recommend a fast-paced fitness class that will channel her anger and frustration with emailgate into workout energy. A pilates class just wouldn’t cut it.

2. Celebrating being the first woman president

If Clinton gets elected, she would be the first female president and the symbolic power of a woman holding the most powerful office in the world cannot be overstated. And because making history is worth celebrating, from time to time, she should just drop everything and throw a dance party in the middle of the oval office.

We know she would love a dance workout because as she has said in the past, “I want to be as good a president as Beyoncé is a performer”.
