After all of this fitness talk, it really makes me want to go to the gym right now! But if we are honest, this motivation only lasts for the first 2–3 months. Then we get tired and life gets in the way. We all have busy times at some point in our lives. Here is a few helpful tips to keep staying motivated!

Take it one day at a time. This might sound kind of cheesy but sometimes when we think about the future, we don’t even realize we are stressing ourselves out. Taking it one day at a time lets you really think about what YOU want to do that day or even week. This will make you even think about a healthier fitness plan for you!

Surround yourself with positivity. This is probably my favorite one. I try to be very positive with everything I do and I know it helps me out so much. Complaining is never the answer because it will do no good for you and just make you feel worse. Positivity is key even if that means you having 20 minutes of alone time.

Create a vision board. If you are a very crafty person this could help you out a lot! There isn’t much to say about this one because it is really up to you!

Reward yourself. This is so important when you are dieting or trying to workout a lot. Trust me. If you are craving that cookie and have been for a week, treat yourself and eat a cookie! Ovbiously, you shouldn’t do this probably every day, but once a week is healthy for you!

Recognize your progress. Usually people don’t recognize how much they have been doing. You are usually your biggest critique. It is good to be proud of yourself and look at how far you have come from the beginning!

Hopefully these can help YOU stay motivated! :)
