Changes are a’comin’ and we couldn’t be more excited. But first things first.

This is the Fitzgerald way, thanks to the leadership, smarts, passion and spirit of our founders, Dave Fitzgerald & Lisa Galanti.

Today, we add a new member to the team. Matt Woehrmann, worldwide account director for Coca-Cola at McCann Worldgroup, joins Fitzgerald & CO as CEO. Dave Fitzgerald will assume the role of Chairman of the agency.

Matt comes to us with a special perspective gained from a broad range of international experience, as well as a passion for the work that we do for all of our clients — Coca-Cola, Navy Federal, Odwalla, MedExpress, Quikrete, Pergo, Synovus, Carrabba’s, Nestle and Floor & Decor among them. Prior to taking on leadership of the Coca-Cola account in 2007, Matt was the agency’s Mexico-based Director of Client Services, leading L’Oreal, Microsoft and GM. In addition to Fitzco CEO, Matt will retain his role with McCann.

The news doesn’t stop there. In addition, our Managing Director Lisa Galanti, who announced her retirement at the beginning of the year, will be transitioning her responsibilities over the next few months to Chief Digital & Innovation Officer Evan Levy. Evan, an 18-year Fitzco veteran, has held a variety of leadership roles in the agency across a variety of disciplines, including account management, creative and digital.

Welcome home, Matt. The South’s got somethin’ to say — now more than ever.
