How Much Should I Spend on My Dream Wedding?

Isn’t wedding planning exciting? Picking out attire, colors, flowers, and so much more is something many people dream of and even plan for their entire lives up to that point. But wedding planning is not all fun — it takes a lot of financial support and can make a big hole in your wallet if you’re not careful. With the recent economic inflation in the U.S., a CNBC survey found that 77% of wedding vendors are raising their prices for 2023. The average cost of a wedding in the U.S. in 2022 was $28,000. Where will this money come from? Many receive financial support from their families, but for others, all funds must come directly from the couple.

Watching people celebrate their love is incredible and the wedding ceremonies and parties are something to remember forever. The big question is how much money to spend on your dream wedding. In this video, we explore the different costs involved in planning a wedding and how much people typically spend in the U.S. We also compare the prices of a wedding cake, the dress, and general expenses.
