West of China — Dunhuang
Views of the west of China are very different from other places’. There are fewer people living there. China is a huge country, you can see different geographical feature as many as possible.
The place where has dessert is named Mingsha Mountain. When you climb up to the top, you can see crescent lake. From Han dynasty is said as one of eight sightseeing of Dunhuang. What an amazing thing to see a moon from land derived from a lake!
The most classic point is Mogao Grottoes. You can’t find the other same location like here in other places. It is a recommended place according to UNESCO. Inside the Mogao Grottoes, there are many famous Buddhism murals, the most famous ones are the series of ‘Fly to Sky’, they describe female characters in Buddhism. It is such a precious opportunity to admire the rest of the art, because there are the paintings on walls, which is hard to save as other kinds of works.
