MA750i Headphones
by RHA
My best new habit is listening to audiobooks while working out and commuting. When my Sensheiser in-ears recently died I searched for durable headphones with great sound.
After research I found that RHA’s MA750i give me exactly what I need. They’re made from stainless steel combined with a reinforced rubber cable. They’re less likely to fall out during rigorous activity because the cable loops around the ear. It comes with three different ear tip styles, in a total of six sizes to fit your ear size and style preference. The 3-button remote lets you control your music, volume, and works as a microphone for all iOS devices.
Oh, and the sound is amazing by the way.
FM Attack — Sleepless Nights
by FM Attack
As a child of the 80’s, I can’t help but love new retro wave songs. This week my friend Davey shared a great tune by FM Attack. The unofficial video clip makes this song amazing; it’s footage from the movie The Cannonball Run [1981].
Why 7 seconds could make or break your mobile app
by Peter Fodor
Great article on why users download the apps that they do — and why some apps stay ignored. This post is not based on gut feelings but scientific research on 25,000 people generating 10,000 app installs.
Takeaway: People don’t read app descriptions. Only a few scroll through screenshots, and users spend a mere average of 7 seconds on the app page.
Free email course: How to Read a Contract
by Katie Lane
When I stumbled across this course a few days ago and signed up immediately. As a freelance designer some of my clients want me to sign NDA’s and other contracts. When I attempt to read one, it is as if the page is filled with Lorem Ipsum. I sign at the bottom and hope for the best. But no more!
Hemingway Editor: Make your writing bold and clear
Writing is one of the most important forms of creativity. Good writing is a skill anyone can learn. Small and simple changes improve the quality, simplicity, and succes of your writing. Hemingway Editor is my go-to Mac App that helps me finetune my texts. I may or may not have used it for this blog post…
