As a futurist, dreamer, practicioner or Kenjutsu (Japanese Sword) and a fair bit of Coding (not a hacker, Hiro is the better of us two); I can say that I will wholeheartedly agree with Neal’s “Snow Crash” being a must-read. I’m an avid Stephenson Fan and can count him among the top 5 authors that I come home to after being deep in the bowels of the mundane. Right up there with Verne’s “20,000 Leagues,” Gibson’s “Neuromancer,” Jordan’s “Wheel of Time,” Samderson’s ‘Cosmere’ Books (pick any) and Anderson’s “Saga of Seven Suns.” They’re all in my collection of actual hard-back and paperback books, that won’t be replaced by kindle copies..
