We can say mobile phones is indispensable in our daily life. A phone out of battery may bring inconvenience, especially for businessman and tourists, The founder of Strawberry Energy , Milisavljevic says, ‘We rely heavily on our cell phones for many essential tasks during the day’. Besides, solar power as clean energy is good for our environment and can benefit people at the same time. Milisavljevic was fascinated with clean technology and devoted to finding a way to use it in our daily life for solving common problems, which motivated him to design and develop the public phone charger stations on streets.

Milisavljevic hoped the station can be more useful and helpful to people, so environmental sensing was designed to provide one way for people to check the location of all stations and find out the best place for parking, which facilities drivers a lot by solving parking problems.

Some insights come from this inspirational installation:

  1. Take advantage of clean energy can benefit both people and environment.

2. Application can be developed as multi-functional to serve people better. People have different needs at different times, multi-functional facilities are always more welcomed and creates higher

These insights can be helpful to our project community garden.

Garden can use clean energy for systems, design facilities to collect solar power, wind power and even human power.

Find out what people want, fix their problems by using technology, can make people more connected with the garden.

Considering user requirements and commercial value, designing installations as multi-functional, to solve pain points and benefit our enviroment.
